I recently read two great books. One is On Writing, written by Stephen King, and the other is Let’s Get Digital by David Gaughran.
Stephen King is the absolute master of the writing craft, and his books speak for themselves, either you like the genre or not. You just have to respect him and his work.
On Writing is explaining the most common mistakes in writing fiction, but also gives advices how to improve your skills.
The other book, Let’s Get Digital, is guiding the reader through (self) publishing process and offers a lot of great resources where you can ask for help.
Combined together, the books are all you need as a writer.
